Welcome to Tixzon. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tixzon platform, website, mobile services, applications, communications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By using the Platform or purchasing tickets through Tixzon, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
Important: Tixzon acts solely as a technology platform, ticket marketplace, and booking agent facilitating transactions between ticket purchasers and event organisers. The contract for the purchase of tickets and attendance at an event is between the ticket purchaser and the relevant Event Organiser. Tixzon is not a party to that contract except where expressly stated otherwise.
1. Who We Are
Tixzon is operated by:
Mediyah Ltd
184 Broadlands Avenue
Enfield, EN3 5AF
United Kingdom
2. Nature of the Platform
Tixzon is a technology platform, ticket marketplace, and booking agent. Tixzon enables event organisers, promoters, venues, producers, and authorised sellers ("Organisers") to advertise, distribute, and sell tickets to events. Tixzon acts as agent and facilitator — not as principal, seller, promoter, or merchant of record — in these transactions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Tixzon is not the organiser, promoter, producer, venue operator, or seller in its own name of listed events. Tixzon does not assume primary liability for the delivery, content, or performance of any event.
The contract for the purchase of tickets and attendance at an event is formed between the ticket purchaser and the relevant Event Organiser. Tixzon is not a party to that attendance contract except where expressly stated otherwise.
The relevant Organiser is solely responsible for the event itself, including:
- staging and delivery of the event;
- event content, artist lineup, and programme;
- venue operations and facilities;
- compliance with local laws, regulations, licensing, and permits;
- safety, security, and health obligations at the venue;
- any cancellations, postponements, and event changes;
- entry management and access control;
- all obligations to ticket holders arising from the event.
3. Identification of Event Organisers and Producers
The legal event producer responsible for an event will be identified on the relevant event page. Where available, details of the Event Producer will be displayed within the "Teams" section of the event listing.
By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser acknowledges that the contract for attendance at the event is between the purchaser and the identified event organiser/producer. The Event Organiser and/or Event Producer remains solely responsible for the event and its delivery.
Tixzon acts solely as a technology platform and ticketing agent facilitating the sale of tickets on behalf of the event organiser/producer and does not act as the organiser, producer, promoter, or venue operator unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. Eligibility
You must have legal capacity to enter binding contracts in your jurisdiction. If you purchase on behalf of another person, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
Minors may only use the Platform or attend events subject to parental or lawful guardian consent and applicable event rules.
5. Accounts
You may create an account or use guest checkout where available.
You are responsible for:
- keeping login credentials secure;
- maintaining accurate account information;
- all activity under your account;
- promptly notifying us of unauthorised use.
We may suspend or close accounts for fraud, abuse, policy breaches, unlawful conduct, or security concerns.
6. Orders & Contract Formation
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase tickets. A binding contract for the purchase of tickets is formed only when payment is successfully authorised and an order confirmation is issued by Tixzon on behalf of the relevant Organiser.
The binding contract for event attendance is formed between you (the ticket purchaser) and the relevant Event Organiser. Tixzon acts solely as agent and facilitator of that transaction. Tixzon issues the order confirmation and delivers tickets as agent on behalf of the Organiser.
Tixzon may, acting on its own behalf or on behalf of the Organiser, reject or cancel orders before confirmation where reasonably necessary, including for:
- pricing or listing errors;
- technical issues;
- suspected fraud;
- duplicate bookings;
- breach of purchase limits;
- payment failure;
- regulatory or compliance reasons.
7. Pricing, Fees & Taxes
Ticket prices may include or exclude booking fees, service fees, payment processing fees, taxes, VAT, or local charges as shown at checkout.
Prices may change until purchase is completed.
Once confirmed, the paid purchase price applies except where a clear manifest pricing error occurred.
8. Payments
Tixzon may collect payments on behalf of Organisers as their authorised booking agent. The collection of payment by Tixzon does not make Tixzon the seller, merchant of record, or principal in the underlying transaction.
Ticket proceeds collected by Tixzon belong to the relevant Organiser, subject to applicable platform fees, booking fees, service fees, commissions, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, and any settlement arrangements agreed between Tixzon and the Organiser. Tixzon's own revenue consists only of its platform fees, booking fees, service fees, commissions, or other charges expressly agreed with the Organiser.
Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, card acquirers, banks, or other supported payment partners. By purchasing, you authorise the applicable charges as displayed at checkout.
Tixzon does not store full payment card data; card processing is handled through PCI-DSS compliant third-party providers.
9. Ticket Delivery
Tickets may be delivered by email, PDF, mobile wallet, in-account access, QR code, barcode, SMS, WhatsApp, app delivery, collection, or other methods communicated for the event.
Delivery times may vary by event and fraud/security checks.
You are responsible for checking spam/junk folders and ensuring accurate contact details.
10. Ticket Validity & Entry
Each valid ticket usually contains a unique code and may be scanned once only unless expressly stated otherwise.
The first successful presentation of a valid ticket may be admitted. Duplicate, copied, altered, damaged, suspicious, or previously scanned tickets may be refused entry without refund.
Admission remains subject to:
- venue capacity;
- security procedures;
- age restrictions;
- late entry rules;
- health and safety requirements;
- venue and organiser policies.
11. Refunds & Cancellation Policy
All sales are final unless a refund right applies under these Terms or mandatory applicable law.
Refund eligibility is determined by the relevant Organiser and applicable law. As the Organiser's booking agent, Tixzon may administer refunds on behalf of the Organiser but does not assume primary responsibility for the underlying event or the Organiser's obligations.
Once an order is confirmed, tickets cannot be cancelled, exchanged, downgraded, transferred to another event, or refunded except where one of the following applies:
- the event is cancelled and not rescheduled (see Section 13);
- a refund is required by mandatory applicable law (including applicable EU or UK consumer rights legislation);
- the Organiser expressly authorises refunds.
Where a refund is due, it will ordinarily be processed to your original payment method within a reasonable period, subject to payment provider timelines and the Organiser's settlement position.
Booking fees, service fees, delivery fees, and payment processing charges may be non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Travel costs, accommodation, insurance, and other indirect losses are not refundable by Tixzon or the Organiser unless required by law.
Your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law (including but not limited to German, EU, and UK consumer protection legislation) are not affected by these Terms.
12. Postponed / Rescheduled / Changed Events
Events may be changed for reasons beyond control.
This may include:
- date changes;
- time changes;
- venue changes;
- line-up changes;
- seat reallocations;
- format changes;
- support act changes.
Where an event is rescheduled, tickets may remain valid for the new date unless otherwise announced.
Artist or programme changes do not automatically entitle refunds.
13. Cancelled Events
The Organiser is solely responsible for any decision to cancel an event and for their obligations to ticket holders arising from cancellation.
If an event is officially cancelled and not rescheduled, Tixzon will use reasonable efforts to administer refunds on behalf of the Organiser in accordance with the Organiser's instructions, applicable law, and payment feasibility. Tixzon administers such refunds as agent for the Organiser and does not assume primary financial liability for the Organiser's obligations.
Where refunds are processed, they will ordinarily be limited to the ticket face value and any charges legally required to be refunded, unless the Organiser agrees to a wider refund. Tixzon's platform fees, booking fees, and service charges may be non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
Your statutory consumer rights under applicable law, including those in Germany, the European Union, and the United Kingdom, are not affected.
14. Resale / Transfer / Commercial Use
Unless expressly permitted:
- tickets may not be resold above face value where prohibited;
- tickets may not be used for commercial promotions, competitions, hospitality packages, or advertising without consent;
- tickets may not be transferred in breach of event rules.
Tixzon may cancel affected tickets without refund where misuse is detected.
15. Fraud Prevention
We may perform identity, anti-fraud, velocity, device, payment, and security checks.
We may request additional information before releasing tickets.
Suspicious transactions may be delayed, cancelled, or reported where legally required.
16. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you initiate an unjustified chargeback or payment dispute after receiving valid tickets or services, Tixzon may:
- suspend your account;
- cancel tickets;
- recover associated fees and losses;
- restrict future purchases;
- pursue lawful debt recovery.
17. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- use bots, scripts, scraping tools, or automated buying tools;
- bypass queues, limits, or security systems;
- upload malicious code;
- harass staff or users;
- use stolen payment methods;
- breach applicable laws.
18. Intellectual Property
The Platform, branding, logos, designs, software, text, and content belong to Tixzon or licensors.
No rights are granted except limited personal use of the Platform.
19. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
We may share necessary order information with Organisers, venues, service providers, fraud tools, and payment processors to fulfil bookings and legal obligations.
20. Limitation of Liability
Tixzon acts solely as a technology platform, ticket marketplace, and booking agent. Primary responsibility for the event lies with the Organiser. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tixzon shall not be liable for:
- event quality, cancellation, postponement, or non-performance;
- artist or performer non-appearance or programme changes;
- acts or omissions of the Organiser, venue, or third parties;
- travel, accommodation, or other consequential losses;
- indirect or consequential losses of any kind;
- loss of profits, revenue, or enjoyment;
- third-party systems outages or payment provider failures;
- force majeure events.
Where Tixzon is found liable in its capacity as booking agent, its liability shall not exceed the total booking fees and service charges actually paid to Tixzon in respect of the affected transaction.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory statutory consumer rights.
21. Force Majeure
Tixzon and Organisers are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, epidemics, government restrictions, utility failures, or severe technical incidents.
22. Governing Law – Platform
These Terms governing the use of the Platform and disputes involving Tixzon shall be governed by the laws of Germany, excluding conflict of law principles.
23. Event Law – Local Jurisdiction
Tickets and attendance are additionally subject to the laws, regulations, venue rules, and organiser terms applicable in the country and jurisdiction where the event takes place.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
24. Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions become effective when published on the Platform.
Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance.
